Git, Jira, and Scrum for a growing team
A small team can share a folder and a chat thread. A larger one needs a branch, a ticket, and a rhythm that shows what is in progress.
Git, Jira, and Scrum are one change of habit, not three products to install and forget. The point is that a new person can see the work on a Monday.
When it fits
- The team has outgrown a shared folder and a chat thread.
- Nobody can see what is in progress without asking.
- Branches and tickets exist, but they do not match.
How the work goes
- We set a branch model the team will follow, written on one page.
- The board gets columns that match real states, named in the words the team already uses.
- We pick a sprint length that fits the work.
- The first sprints are coached. Stand-up, planning, and review stay short. A ticket without a branch, or a branch without a ticket, gets called out until the habit holds.
Example: name the ticket and the branch
Sprint
Drag an item onto a row, or select it and use the Move buttons.
Drag the login bug into the sprint. The branch name follows the ticket.

What you receive
- A board whose columns match how code actually moves
- A branch model written on one page
- Two sprints run with the team, not only configured
